The Heart of the Matter: Conversations on Values and Ethics

These two panel discussions will provide insight from expert speakers—including senior leaders in the public service and former members of Parliament—who will share their thoughts and extensive experience regarding important values and ethics issues.

In the first session, they will explore the challenge of providing fearless, rigorous and objective advice while respecting political sensitivities. The second will examine the importance of maintaining a public service that is neutral and non-partisan.
