Ready, Willing, and Able: A Business Case for Inclusive Hiring

Description

In today's increasingly complex work environment, neurodiverse employees can provide organizations with many strategic advantages; however, this talented labour pool often goes overlooked.

Ready, Willing and Able (RWA) is a national partnership of the Canadian Association for Community Living (CACL), the Canadian Autism Spectrum Disorders Alliance (CASDA) and their member organizations. Funded by the Government of Canada and active in 20 communities across the country, RWA is designed to increase the labour force participation of people with an intellectual disability or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Join us as David Paterson, Regional Autism Coordinator for RWA in Atlantic Canada, shares information on the Ready, Willing, and Able program, and how it can help foster a more inclusive and diverse workplace for a stronger public service.
